Candle – This had a nice blues sound. Now continue to perfect your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Agata – Your first song was very sweet and emotional. Your second song was catchy with a good chord progression, just look to get to the main hook earlier. Click here for more information on song structure for songwriters.

Robert – The backing track was good but the lyrics and melody need more dynamics as they were a little flat. Click here for advice on musical dynamics.

Lisa – Your first song felt like a throwback to a rock ballad – nice! The second song had a great chorus but try to get it in earlier. Click here for more information on song structure for songwriters.

Timea – The melody would benefit from being a little less simplistic/ repetitive. Click here for advice on musical dynamics.

Alice – This was a catchy song but look to make it a little more unique sounding.

Lamia – This was a good song but needs more development. Click here for more information on song structure for songwriters. Also look to work on your projection, a good vocal coach will be able to assist you with this.

Umnia – This was a great song, very catchy. Now continue to perfect your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Stella – This was a great ballad – very 90’s feeling. Now continue to perfect your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Zhane – This sounds like a really interesting song. Now look to work on your vocal projection - click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Feedback for Camden Songwriters Who Wanted to Impress

RJ – This song had a nice but would benefit from having a more memorable chorus to stick in people’s heads. Click here for songwriting tips – how to write a chorus.

Janay – This song had nice minor chords but looks to perfect your timing as it got a little confusing at times. Now continue to perfect your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Beara Sarfain – Look to work on your projection as this would assist you in expanding the dynamics of your song.  Click here for advice on musical dynamics.

Maria – We loved your commitment to the song however it is very specific so maybe look to make it more accessible to a broader audience.

Paul – This song had lovely piano playing. Now look to work on your vocal in order to really show off the song to its best potential.

Jason – Your songs would benefit from more structure and additional dynamics as they are a little on one level. Click here for more information on song structure for songwriters and here for advice on musical dynamics.

Tabea – This song had lovely lyrics and a nice melody. Now look to give it a stand out chorus in order to hook us in. Click here for songwriting tips – how to write a chorus.

David – Look to dress for the part – make a theme for your act.

Agniz – Just make sure to watch your control – possibly look to work with a vocal coach who can help with your projection and range.

Jane Young – Make sure to watch your guitar tuning and potentially look to utilise the guitar to give more impact as it felt a little thin as a backing instrument. Click here for some helpful guitar playing warm ups.

Hannah – This has potential but to ensure the momentum from the chorus is maintained get some stronger hooks in to the verses. Click here for advice on musical dynamics.

Eliza – Take care to keep checking your guitar strings as they sounded a little out of tune. Click here for some helpful guitar playing warm ups.

Camden Songwriters Wanted To Impress - Feedback

Jessica – You need to protect your vocal more as we were struggling to hear what you were singing.

Eva – The lyrics in your song were good. Now look to add dynamics and quicken the tempo to get it flowing. Click here for advice on musical dynamics.

Vava – Potentially look to replace the section before the chorus line with lyrics rather than vocal adlibs. Click here for more information on song structure for songwriters.

Nicole – Your song has a lot of potential but the vocal wasn’t developed enough. Going forward either look to get lots of vocal lessons of potentially get someone else to sing it for you.

Lewis – Your song was good but in future don’t play guitar to a backing CD as they will just clash. Now continue to perfect your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Helena – We liked the change in tempo and the drop in the song. Now look to work with a good vocal coach in order to improve your projection.

Ross – Look to practice performing and engaging more if you are going to perform your songs. Click here for advice on musical dynamics.

Adam – This was a good song but make sure you allow it to breathe a little. Now continue to perfect your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Harri – We liked that you showed great commitment to the songs. Now continue to perfect your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities which will allow you to do this.

Tim – This was a good song but it took too long to kick in – going forward make sure to get that chorus in earlier. Click here for more information on song structure for songwriters.
