Steve Scott – Moral Exodus; This passionate performance was both captivating and soulful with nice guitar playing. We felt the track would have benefitted from having a real chorus hook to latch on to. Free from all my trouble; This song was also soulful with a great beat and strong melody. The topline was catchy and the lyrics are fantastic, again it would benefit from utilising a catchy hook to anchor itself into your head along with some strengthening of the chorus. James – This song had a good topic and felt bouncy. Both the topline and melody were strong. Now continue to work on your performance. Click here for live performance opportunities.

Mujde – We feel this song had good ideas but would benefit from being simplified and having a stronger topline. Click here for tips on the importance of structure and having a strong opening line when writing a song. The second song had a nice sentiment.
Phillip – Flying; This song had a great topic and a clever story. The pre-chorus was catchy although it would benefit from having slightly less predictable lyrics. Shine; A deep and emotive song with a catchy verse. It would benefit from having the momentum maintained throughout and a stronger topline. Click here for more information on the significance of having a strong opening line when writing a song.
Louise – This song was soulful and catchy with a nice topline and good vocals. It had great hooks with good rise and falls and flowed nicely. We felt like if it was tweaked slightly it has the potential to be fantastic. Perhaps have another song writer look at your work to help you make these little changes to perfect it.
